with Andria Mitsakos PR Firm |
| |
In January of 2007,
the American Friends of Jamaica (AFJ) teamed up with leading
international, boutique PR firm Andria Mitsakos Public Relations
(AMPR) in an attempt to take the organization's publicity efforts
to the next level. With high-profiled travel and lifestyle clients
spanning the globe andwith a specialized dedication to humanitarian
efforts, AMPR is perfectly suited to work with AFJ in achieving
their goals. AMPR proudly represents a number of resorts and
lifestyle hotels in Jamaica and has developed a strong dedication
not only to their clients, but also to the people and island

and AFJ are both very pleased with this new partnership and
look forward to working together to raise awareness surrounding
the issues facing Jamaicans and to support the worthy charitable
organizations that are there making a difference. |

New York, NY, October 2005 -- Major figures
in the cultural landscape of Jamaica are contributing to the

on Saturday, November 5. Contemporary artists, young and old,
will be showcased during the event's silent and live auctions.
This is the largest collection of Jamaican and American artists

its fundraising efforts for Jamaica. The pieces, valued at
$700,000 Jamaican dollars (US $12,000), draw on the vastness
of island life, from landscapes to street scenes, portraits
